Why Are You Experiencing More Blocks Now?
The primary reason for the increased blocking is the higher percentage of Canadian members on our service compared to others. While many services might have only 5-10% Canadian users, we have about 40-50%. This difference is why some services may appear unaffected when ours is experiencing issues.
Blockages from Canadian ISPs: During major sports events such as FIFA, NHL, NBA, and MLB, ISPs may block access to our service. This is a recurring issue throughout the sports season.
Current Blocking Issue: Previously, only individual IPs were blocked. Now, Canadian ISPs are blocking all VPNs connecting to Canada so you'll have to set your location to US during special events.
Instructions for Canadian Members:
From now on, all Canadian members will need to use a VPN during blocks. Please follow these steps:
Activate the VPN and select a server in the United States.
Connect to our service through the VPN.
Additional Notes:
Some users may still experience connectivity issues. In such cases, try using a different VPN or wait for the block to end, as the service itself is not down.
